We paid 3,500 rubles for a stay in early June 2025, but weren’t offered a choice of rooms. They simply showed us the first one they came across and told us to check in. At 1:00 PM it still hadn’t been cleaned. I asked to have the sheets changed while I watched, though I wasn’t convinced they’d been changed at all. The bathroom was wet and dirty, the old bedding was incomplete, and there was no warm blanket, so we had to use the sheets. Aside from disposable slippers, there were no robes, soap, or other supplies. The towels were cheap and reminded me of the ones at my grandma’s dacha. The air conditioning was running, but we were cold overnight and its remote didn’t work. There was no fridge, kettle, or in-room phone, so making tea or coffee wasn’t an option, and for anything we needed we had to go downstairs and look for the receptionist. When we asked for cognac glasses, we got 200-gram water glasses instead. We were told to leave by 12 noon, with no extra time, and other rooms were available but weren’t shown to us. The hotel is in a remote residential area with no nearby shop or pharmacy. I had to go to the Jal district and spent another 1,000 soms on taxi rides to and from the shop and pharmacy. Service was terrible, and for what we got, the room should cost no more than 1,500-2,000 soms a night. There’s no breakfast, either. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
