Vzmorie De Luxe Hotel

Hi, we're staying at Vzmore Deluxe, and I really wouldn't want to return. The room feels worn, gets hot and stuffy, has no air conditioning, and the windows have no mosquito screens. Mosquitoes get in everywhere. The dining room service is worse than one star. At breakfast, lunch, and dinner, waiters keep asking our room number three to five times, and service takes ages. The cutlery is often dirty, although there's a good variety of food. Housekeeping is also a problem. Maids come in whenever they like, despite our request to reception that nobody enter while we're out. There's no do not disturb sign. Someone may take the rubbish and leave slippers, but the room isn't cleaned and the towels aren't changed.

The food was good and varied, with fresh pastries, and the beach is just a five-minute walk away. But our room went untouched for all five days, and the lobby was dirty too. It's cozy, but there's no air conditioning, so it gets very stuffy. A restaurant beside the guesthouse plays loud music late into the night. For a stay longer than two days, I wouldn't recommend it. The service was poor, and I'm not coming back.

We stayed as a family. It's a peaceful place, especially at night, and the excellent beach is only five minutes away. Shops and bars are right on the beach near the hotel. The staff were friendly, and our room was nice, though the bathroom was a little noisy. The meals were the weak point. The portions were small and, honestly, not very tasty, so sometimes we went to nearby cafes for dinner. Breakfast was mostly porridge and dessert; lunch had a starter and main course, and dinner a main course and dessert. Kyrgyzskoe Vzmorie boarding house, with its lovely, extensive green grounds, is nearby.

The hotel sits within the grounds of the large "Kyrgyzskoe Vzmorie" boarding house, which is handy if you're looking for wellness treatments. It's close to the lake, and the rooms are decent-sized and comfortable, with a TV, mini-fridge, and bathroom amenities. Meals cost extra, but we enjoyed the food. I'd happily return next year and recommend it.
