Podsolnukhi Guest House

Dimitri was helpful and friendly, and made us feel welcome. Our clean, comfortable room was very reasonably priced, and having good parking was convenient. We had a great stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Cholpon-Ata.

If I return to Cholfon-Ata, I’d stay at this house again without hesitation. The lodge was very clean, with a garden so beautiful it felt heavenly. The owner is diligent and especially kind. Altissimo~

We stayed for a week, from August 28 to September 3, and the peaceful atmosphere left us with warm memories of Cholpon-Ata. The scenery was majestic, the weather beautiful, and the lake water clear and moderately cool. The wild beach was deserted, and the guesthouse made a comfortable base. Podsolnukhi Guesthouse has leafy, well-kept grounds with trees, flowers, shrubs, pergolas covered in climbing plants, benches, and swings. That greenery gives Podsolnukhi a different feel from the neighboring guesthouses. The rooms are plain but tidy and cozy, with what you need for a comfortable stay. There’s a table and chairs under the awning for breakfast or tea, and guests can cook in the shared courtyard kitchen or use the garden barbecue. It’s about 100 meters from the entrance to the city park, then a pleasant 5-7-minute walk to the nearest beach. Dmitry, the owner of "Podsolnukhov," was sociable and responsive, without pushing extra services. He readily helped us choose a cafe, call a taxi, and arrange a jeep tour to the Semenovskoye and Grigoryevskoye gorges.
