Hotel AK Maral

The owners made my two nights at ak maral hotel feel like home. They helped whenever I asked, recommended the best restaurants in town, and even drove me to the martshuka bus station. They also made lots of calls to arrange my transfer from karakol to bokonbaevo, and I’m so grateful for their help 🙏. My room had a balcony, which is rare among the accommodation in karakol, and was spotless. The shower had strong pressure and hot water all day and night. Breakfast was generous too. Thank you.

I was left scrambling after a last-minute booking fell through. I’d booked online, but when I arrived, I was told there were no rooms and that they don’t accept online bookings, even though the hotel was listed on at least three platforms. The receptionist seemed not to care about the situation his unprofessional employers had left me in. It wasn’t easy to find another room at such short notice, and I got no apology or explanation.

The breakfast was my favorite part, and it was really good. My room was clean and lovely, just right for the cozy weather, and the amenities were great. The staff were incredibly helpful, so I had a great experience here.

The garden was one of my favorite things, from the plants by the entrance to the stairs overlooking the mountains. Our spacious, cozy room was very clean and had a balcony with a beautiful mountain and garden view. Ermek, the administrator, was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and filling enough to last us nearly the whole day, dessert included. Our group loved staying here and would book again on another visit to Karakol. Thanks for making the stay comfortable and memorable.
