We stayed here in the winter of 2021, about a 25-minute drive from Karakol, and we'd come back. It feels like a big family home, with clean, cozy, simple no-frills rooms with beds and a shared bathroom. The hosts were very welcoming, there's a good sauna, and it's a pleasant spot for a large group.

The mountain views are beautiful, and the staff are very friendly. We tried food at lots of cafes and restaurants, but the chefs here made the best food, and the prices were good too.

Rose Garden is the best guesthouse in Karakol, in my view. We had excellent service and the rooms were clean, which matters a lot to us. We had a lovely vacation here, and I highly recommend it.
