The rooms are very plain, and the portions are ridiculously small even though the meals are okay. There's no point asking for extra food, the answer is “no.” The staff are friendly, but nobody seems to have the authority to change anything, so the mediocre status quo stays. Wi-Fi is extremely weak. I had to go to the dining room or sit on a bench outside reception to get a decent signal. For the price and quality, it's not a great deal, and competing places are better options.

The hotel itself is super cute, and the lake is the best part. The staff are amazing, so nice, helpful, and awesome! They move fast when clearing your food plates, or really anything you leave on the table. 😅😅 There aren't hairdryers in the rooms. The rooms on the balcony side are super fancy, though, and sometimes you can hear roosters in the morning!!!

The pathway from the resort down to the lake is well maintained, and taking a quick dip in the water was delightful. I'm staying at Simiram until 10th July. It's in a wonderful spot, and the snow-covered mountains are especially beautiful. Vegetarians may need to make some adjustments to enjoy the natural scenery.

Bring your own personal hygiene supplies, including towels, if you're thinking of staying here. Don't expect much beyond a place to sleep. For good food, you'll need to go a little farther.

It's a family hotel with simple rooms and a rocky beach. Breakfast was poor, and I'd compare the place to a 2-star hotel. The price was reasonable, though, and I did get some relaxation.
