LEVEL Hotel

We had a large room with a big, comfortable bed, sofa, and leather armchair, but it was right beside reception and the staff room. We could hear what was going on outside, including calls and cleaning staff, so there was basically no sound insulation. The bathroom looked modern, though it was a bit dirty, with exposed pipes and open holes. The handheld shower was partly broken and hard to use, although there was also an overhead shower. I saw a cockroach, and the bathroom really needs fixing. The hotel is very close to the entrance gate of Suleiman Too, but away from downtown. Walking or taking a cab is manageable. The staff were kind and found us a good taxi driver when we asked about going toward the mountains. I was a little disappointed by breakfast after reading so many glowing reviews. The cook did make the omelet we ordered herself, which was nice, but for good morning coffee you’ll need to head downtown. A coffee machine with good beans would help.

Breakfast was nothing special, though better than having none, and the laundry left two of our T-shirts permanently ruined, which was a disappointing way to end the stay. We stayed here twice. The first room was spacious and had a good bed; the second was smaller and right beside reception, so it was noisy. Keep that room difference in mind.

The hotel is close to Sulaiman-Too, with a nice view over the city, and the center is about a 15-minute walk away. Parking is available next to the building. My room was very clean and a good standard, with decent WiFi and air-conditioning. Breakfast was good, too. Staff spoke good English and were eager to help, including arranging taxis or food delivery.

Our three-person room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The hotel is well placed for the museum and Suleiman-Too, though a little way from the actual center.
