Sky Palace Boutique Hotel

The room was okay, but I’d already booked and paid in the app. At the hotel, they said their policy required another deposit and that the app would refund it. I’ve travelled around the world and know that the app won’t refund that payment, so I ended up paying twice, with the hotel holding both payments. I really can’t recommend staying here.

At check-in, I paid a deposit directly to the hotel. They clearly said it would be returned after checkout as long as there was no problem with the room. When I checked out, they confirmed the room was in perfect condition, but didn’t return the deposit. They then said the booking site should issue the refund, even though I’d paid the hotel in person and the site wasn’t involved in that payment. The site couldn’t help. The hotel ignored my messages for a while, then acted as if they were helping and eventually stopped replying. They made no real effort to sort it out. It seemed they wanted to keep the money but not help once there was a problem. Very disappointing and unprofessional, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

They’re really awesome. I highly recommend this affordable, nice place to any tourist.

We had a clean, spacious Deluxe Twin with a balcony, and the air conditioning worked well. The receptionists were friendly on both the morning and night shifts, and security was helpful too. It isn’t right by the tourist areas, though it’s not far from the city. I’d definitely recommend it to travellers.
