I paid $19 for a two-bed room and barely slept. Bed bugs kept biting me all night, it was terrible. The shower had no hot water, and the Wi-Fi kept disconnecting, so I had to use my mobile data. The air con wasn’t good either, and I think it had a bad smell. When I told the receptionist about the bed bugs, she just said, “I’m sorry...”

It’s close enough to walk to Virak Buntham bus station and the riverbank in Kampong Cham, which is the bright spot. For the price and service, though, it’s just okay.

For $11-14 a night depending on the season, it’s still cheaper than the hotels next door, but there are no views. The place is cheap and new, though the air con wasn’t strong enough during the hot day. There’s no phone or kettle in the room, and the only amenities were soap and toothbrushes. Communication was very poor, and the massage we’d reserved didn’t show up on either of two occasions.

The rooms are nice and the service is good. It’s close to the riverside, so you can go for a walk there.

The rooms were tidy and clean, and the staff were kind and really helpful. It’s not a fancy place, just a nice one. I’d be glad to stay again if we’re driving through.
