The staff were kind, and the bathrooms were okay. The room felt a bit old, though it had lockers and the AC was on all the time. I’d give cleanliness 7/10. I was alone when someone smoked in the room, so I didn’t want to say anything. I wouldn’t recommend this to solo female travelers: from the top bunk, the other guests can see you very easily because the divider is only a short panel.
I stayed in a dorm, where the bed came with clean sheets, a blanket, towel, pillow, phone charging point, and a personal reading light. It was cleaned daily, and there was a balcony for smoking or drying clothes. The three shared toilets and showers were always clean, with hand soap provided. The rooftop bar has good prices, with beer at $1 to $1.25 for dark beer. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from the river beach and the bars, restaurants, and nightlife area, but quiet enough to sleep at night. Strong WiFi, and the hotel rents motorcycles for exploring local attractions. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Kampot. 👍👍👍👍👍
I liked how quiet it was, and most restaurants are within walking distance. The room was great and the service was too. The owner makes an effort to learn everyone’s names, which really impressed me. I extended my stay because it’s such a good place to catch up on rest.
The coffee and cocktails were tasty and well priced. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nice, and the staff were friendly. It’s on a quiet street but still in a good location, with a 7/11 just around the corner.
The owner was very friendly and helpful. You’re close to the river, restaurants, and bars, and there’s a rooftop bar at the hotel that stays open until 1 AM. The room itself is basic, and the shower pressure is low.
