I was in Kep for a Khmer - Chinese holiday honoring my great grandparents. The hotel lodge was a great choice. The salt water pool, two beds, nice hot shower, AC and fan were all good, and the shaded areas helped keep things cool during Kepβs hot midday heat. The laid-back vibe fits Kep well. The French owner and Khmer staff made for a good experience, and they know how to make good coffee. Breakfast in the morning hit the spot. Canβt recommend it more highly. This would be my #1 choice for a stay in Kep.

We had a wonderful stay at Tara Lodge, cats included. The team was attentive and helpful from booking through checkout, and even decorated our clean, fairly spacious room without us asking. A really nice touch. The food and drinks were good too, especially the crunchy, filling spring rolls, my personal favorite. The well-maintained salt water pool has plenty of sun beds around it, perfect for relaxing. Highly recommended, and weβll definitely be back.

The bungalows are spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the pool is large and inviting, set in a peaceful area of beautifully kept gardens. Each morning we get a freshly made breakfast, which is a lovely way to start the day. My partner and I always stay at Tara Lodge when we visit Kep. The property is lovely and the service is impeccable. Jim and Patrick are incredibly attentive, professional, and friendly, and the rest of the staff are delightful too π. We highly recommend it and are looking forward to our next holiday there.

We had a great stay, and it all felt effortless in the best way. The place is clean and lovely, and our room was just what we needed. The garden and pool are beautiful and well looked after. The staff were so pleasant and helpful when we needed them, shared information, and also knew how to give us our own space.

The pool is wonderfully relaxing, surrounded by beautiful, well-kept gardens. Tara lodge is a comfortable, peaceful little hotel, with lovely clean rooms and friendly, efficient service. It has the best of old Kep charm, in an area intent on destroying itself through thoughtless, destructive overdevelopment. Letβs support places like Tara so they survive. Highly recommended.
