Long Set Resort

The room was cool when I arrived, and there was welcome juice waiting for me. Throughout my stay, the staff were attentive, smiling, and seemed to anticipate what I needed. I also really enjoyed the food and drinks. It was a comfortable stay with consistently thoughtful service, and I'd happily recommend it for a getaway.

Being right by the pier made everything easy, and the resort itself was lovely and relaxed, with great food and staff who seemed proud to work there. When something in our room needed attention, they sorted it quickly and cheerfully. We also took a half-day tuk tuk tour with Kert, or possibly Kirt, who works at the resort. His English was great, and he knew a lot about the island. He was happy to chat, and we learned plenty from him. We'd recommend the tour. We had a great five days and would highly recommend staying here on Koh Long.

We had a memorable dinner at Long Set Resort Beach Restaurant, right on the sand as the sun went down and the sea could be heard nearby. The Cambodian dishes were full of flavor, and the grilled food was cooked just right. You could taste the quality and care in each dish. Ms. Vatana and the team made the evening feel special. They were warm, attentive, quick, and friendly. A great choice on Koh Rong for a beachfront meal and welcoming service.

We were there over Christmas and joined a Christmas Eve BBQ with the staff and other guests. The beach was perfect, with soft sand and clear water, and no jellyfish or rubbish. Having kayaks and paddle boards available was great too. The location is handy, right beside the pier, shops, and restaurants. Our room was cleaned every day and smelled fresh, and all the facilities were clean. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We'd love to come back.
