A nice beach not far from the pier, with a fun atmosphere set up for a good day by the water. They regularly hold techno parties, and they tend to get quite full. Tickets cost 10usd if you buy in advance, or 12,50usd right before entering the beach.

I’m only reviewing the bar and party scene. I went for NYE and bought a ticket early. Arriving early meant you could get a free tank top, and showing the flyer got you a free beer, so there were lots of freebies. If psychedelic music is your thing, you’ll probably like it. It was nice chatting with people there. I got there early when nobody was around, and luckily my stamp let me leave and come back. Drinks and food were pretty expensive, so I went outside to drink and then returned. Tickets instead of cash worked well, and they don’t use plastic cups. You pay for a reusable cup and get the money back, which was interesting. They ran out of ice and sent us to their other bar. With so many people around, having two bars was good. There was a fire show, but it didn’t last long. The bathroom was terrible. Bring a friend to hold the door, and a light bulb would help because you can’t see anything. People seemed to arrive around 11PM, and someone told me it stayed open all night, until about 5AM. It’s not for me, but I recommend it to people who like this kind of music.

Life here moves slowly and is very laid back, so you have to go with the flow. The restaurant has quite good food, and it’s a nice short walk from town. I stayed four nights and really enjoyed it. Just be aware that the parties on Wednesdays and Fridays can be loud, though the music is very good.

This is a review of the bar, not the sleeping rooms. It has a bit of a hipster feel and sits a little farther from the main village, making it a quiet place to rest and a good spot for full moon parties. The party costs 10$, which felt a bit overpriced for the music. There was also a movie showing when we visited.

The rates were overpriced. The private rooms felt more semi-private, with only a thin wooden wall between them and the ceiling almost open, so we could hear the neighbors very well. The fan didn’t work, the mosquito net had lots of holes, and there was no tap water, so we couldn’t shower for two days. The Turkish hippie owners came across as arrogant and seemed not to care.
