The One Resort Koh Rong

The hotel and rooms were lovely and clean, the pool was beautiful, and so was the beach. The staff were amazing, especially the people working out in that heat. The food menu is quite pricey, but breakfast was very good when it was included in your stay. It’s a beautiful location, though I’d hire a scooter if you want to get out and about. There weren’t many rubbish bins around the beach, and I kept finding plastic and other things washed in from the ocean, along with rubbish left behind by lazy guests. I ended up picking it up a few times myself. A few bins and polite signs asking people to look after this fabulous beach would help.

The food was enjoyable, with enough choice for different preferences, and there was lots of comfortable seating by the beach. The staff were friendly and worked together so smoothly that the whole stay felt welcoming and relaxed. I’d suggest adding more drink choices to the in-room minibar. A few things to do, like ping pong, darts, a pool table or cornhole, would be nice too, as would a fire pit and a shuttle to nearby beaches. It was a lovely place to stay.

We picked The One Resort because my wife and I wanted somewhere affordable on Koh Rong, and it worked out well overall. The staff were kind, committed, and easy to communicate with. Our room didn’t meet all our expectations, though we booked through a third-party site, so check the details carefully. The beach was beautiful, and we liked being able to use nearby beaches at the beach resort and you and me resort. Breakfast was my favorite part. The regular menu wasn’t really to our taste, and resort prices were a little high, so it’s worth trying other island restaurants too. We’d recommend staying here for the friendly, accommodating service. Renting scooters is a good way to see more of the island.

I stayed at The One Resort in Koh Rong from November 27-30 and would gladly return. The place was peaceful and well looked after, with white sand, clear water, and access to three pools. Breakfast was nice, too. My room was clean, comfortable, and in perfect condition, and the staff were warm, attentive, and ready to help. I enjoyed every moment, and the stay exceeded my expectations. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Rong.
