Granferte Phnom Penh Hotel

The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. It was well organized, and I could tell the owner cares about customers. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment. A swimming pool would have made it better, but it’s a perfect place as it is.

The staff were extremely helpful and paid close attention to detail during our honeymoon weekend at Granferte Phnom Penh. The hotel is in a less busy area, so we could spend private time away from the crowds. We also enjoyed the hotel facilities, including the gym and The Ferte Cafe.

Be very careful with the contract here. It said rent was to be paid monthly, but they asked me to pay the full amount upfront and promised to return it if I ended the contract early. I paid over $10,000 for six months as they requested, as a favor to them, because I trusted what they told me. Then they changed what had been said and refused to refund the money. They cheated the customer this way, so everyone should be careful. There’s no more Japanese management, only Cambodian management from Chipmong. I can’t understand how a big group can take customers’ money like this.

My business partner and I spent one night here while in Phnom Penh to meet schools and consultancies in the area. It was a wonderful experience at this new hotel/apartment. The place was clean, had the latest technology, and the staff spoke fluent English and were very helpful. We’ll definitely recommend it to friends and colleagues travelling to the city.
