Green Centre Point Inn

I paid a receptionist USD $300, but she didn't properly record the receipt. At checkout, she and the ten other people working there gathered around and acted as if I'd never paid. I don't know how she could have forgotten, so I believe she and possibly other staff were lying. A hotel is responsible for hiring people who can record transactions properly and won't steal from guests, and this one hasn't done that. For a touristy city like Phnom Penh with many better choices, that alone makes this a horrible choice. There are other problems too. The staff don't speak English, except maybe numbers. Water pressure fluctuates, the toilets don't always flush, and the rooms have bugs everywhere because the hallway windows are left open at night without screens. The location is very bad, somewhere in the old market area and/or by the river. Somewhere closer to the river would be much better, with more minimarts and restaurants. You can barely see this hotel from the street, and cars and tuk tuks are always parked out front, making the entrance hard to reach, especially with a big bag.
