Nimith Hotel​​ & Restaurant

The staff and manager were very helpful and accommodating, and I’m looking forward to spending my remaining three days at the Nimith after Battambang. I’ll be back from there, and I found the hotel comfortable, with a good menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The rooms were well kept, with a very comfortable bed, a lovely hot rainforest shower, and a nice balcony. Tea, coffee, combs, toothbrushes, shower items, and slippers were welcome extras. The location doesn’t look its best at the moment, but it feels very safe. It’s a shame the new Airport is farther away and taking tourists away. Our one real gripe was a Saturday night when staff were talking loudly all night on the balcony next to our rooms. We had to get up at 4 am for the train to Battambang and got no sleep. I understand the staff work long hours and need to unwind on weekends. Maybe staff or contractor accommodation could be away from guest rooms, or there could be a shared area at the back of the ground floor for times when tourists are staying. I thought another holiday maker’s one-star rating over this was completely unfair. Holiday makers can be just as noisy.

The food was really delicious, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Service was excellent, with friendly, helpful staff. I had a great stay at Nimith Hotel and would recommend it.

I liked how peaceful it was, and the service was good. The staff were friendly and professional, and my room was clean, comfortable, and well organized. It’s also in a convenient, easy-to-reach location. I’d recommend it for a relaxing stay.

Staff were friendly and breakfast was good, though it took a while to arrive. Serving breakfast to our group of six took an hour. The hotel was generally fine and the rooms were clean, but there may be mosquitoes, so bring repellent.
