Olympia City Hotel By Dara

I ate at the restaurant on the hotel’s fifth floor and was really happy with the food. It was my first time in Cambodia having food this tasty, made with quality ingredients, even the cooking oil. I finished it so quickly that I forgot to take any pictures.

The pool is spacious, and the evening view is really nice, but the water could be cleaner. The changing room has the facilities, including a sauna, though the sauna had no light. For such a large pool, the changing room feels cramped. I stood around in my wet swimsuit for about an hour waiting to use the bathroom. Walk-ins are $5 per person, while membership is around $70 for two months.

Anna, the hotel manager, made sure our group was comfortable and had a good time in Phnom Penh. The hotel’s central spot also made it easy to get to nearby attractions like Wat Phnom, Central Market, and Independence Monument. We had a great stay in the luxurious suites, with lots of space, clean rooms, and toiletries, bottled water, tea, and coffee provided. We enjoyed the gym and pool, and there were plenty of choices at the breakfast buffet. We’d definitely come back.

The location made sightseeing so easy, right in the center of the city. My room was clean and spacious, and the gym had good equipment. Everyone on staff was polite and attentive. Anna, the hotel manager, kept checking in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. I loved it here and will stay again.
