The room was reasonably clean, the WiFi worked, and the hot water was fine, but the service and communication fell short. The hotel kept my original ID until checkout, which made me uncomfortable, and the air conditioning wasn't very cold. I picked the hotel for its location near Independence Monument, Koh Pich, and the riverside, and stayed two nights. I'd prepaid for a Deluxe Twin with a balcony, but at check-in they assigned me a smaller Superior room without telling me. I only noticed after going in, then had to return to reception to raise it. They moved me to another room afterward, but this should have been sorted out before check-in. There were no slippers and not enough towels. With no in-room phone, I had to go to reception to ask for them. Staff told me to use Telegram for other requests. When I later asked there about coffee or tea, they said they didn't provide any. The reply was very brief and disappointing for hotel service. My stay didn't match the room I booked, and I wouldn't recommend it to travelers expecting proper service and accurate room assignments.

The pool was dirty, there was noise at night, and management showed poor etiquette. The manager took our laundry out of the washer before its cycle had finished, leaving our clothes soaking wet, then removed it from the dryer over an issue she had caused herself, because her own laundry came first. We're traveling tomorrow and our clothes are still damp. I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here.

The room was clean, comfortable, and affordable, with soft pillows. The staff were friendly and spoke English very well. The receptionist even lent me her phone charger for my whole stay! I'd recommend the hotel to everyone and will definitely come back.

I booked too quickly and didn't read enough reviews on Google and Booking.com. The lobby smelled strongly, the floor was dusty and poorly cleaned, and a man was sitting there smoking. I didn't feel safe at all. The room was worse: dusty, with a noisy air conditioner, broken shower head, and damaged bathroom door and sink. The staff were okay, and I didn't complain to them directly, but the place felt disgusting and badly maintained.

I had a bad stay. Staff seemed untrained and unqualified, struggled with basic guest questions, and couldn't give clear information. Even simple requests became needlessly complicated because they lacked knowledge and professionalism. I hope management invests in proper staff training.
