Adan World Hostel

The private feel was what we loved most: our room looked out onto greenery, with no windows facing other people, and the bathtub came with a view. It was still close to the center, but quiet and cozy. Tall trees, palms, mangoes, and birdsong made the place feel like a villa tucked away in nature. The room was spotless and roomy, with a kitchen, two bathrooms, and plenty of white towels. Each floor had its own charm. Staff were always smiling and genuinely caring. They arranged our Angkor temple trip, circus tickets, and tuk-tuks whenever we needed one. When we left early for sunrise at Angkor Wat, they packed breakfast for us. Breakfast portions were generous, with delicious pancakes and good coffee. Wi-Fi was great, too. We really loved staying here and highly recommend it in Siem Reap.

We were a family of four, and each of us had a bed in a Khmer-style bedroom suite. It came with a TV, sofa, kettle, coffee and tea, and air conditioning. There was also a shared veranda outside with a huge reclining wooden chair. The shower was lovely and warm, and the pool was brilliant. The place was clean and felt safe, with good facilities. Shops nearby sell drinks and ice cream, and there’s laundry close by. Angkor Wat supermarket is an easy walk, as is the night market, about 15 minutes away. The hotel kept in touch and was happy to help with all our questions and requests. They offer local private tours at standard prices and booked our bus tickets, too. Service always came with a smile. We truly recommend it.

Friendly staff can point you toward different tours and things to do around Siem Reap. The pool is a real treat, with a relaxing waterfall, and there are cold beers, sodas, and several kinds of spirits available. Both the dorms and private rooms are lovely and comfortable. We thought this guesthouse and hostel was wonderful.

We really liked the spacious family room, the pool, and the accommodation as a whole. The staff were so nice and especially good with the kids. It was good value, too. A big thank you to “Local Time Village” for arranging our tours and transportation. We’d happily recommend Siem Reap and Cambodia for a trip with kids.
