The only real downside was the bar music, which was a little loud and could be heard from the bedroom. Otherwise, it was a dream of a place. The hotel is wonderfully green, with villas that give you a good amount of privacy. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and we got a jacuzzi after being upgraded. The big pool is lovely for relaxing, the Khmer massage is a must try, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The quiet policy made this a serene place to finish my 16 day tour of Vietnam and Cambodia. I felt safe and relaxed the whole time, and the airport pickup and drop off helped with that. Staff were respectful and polite, going above and beyond to make me comfortable and cared for at any hour. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed, and I’d book it again.

What we liked most was the peaceful, natural feel, with all the greenery in the landscaping. Both pools, at the front and the back, were really lovely, and the rooms were okay. The staff were very friendly, but breakfast was a complete disappointment. They simply didn’t offer a decent breakfast. Best regards ☀️

The pool and hotel grounds are nice, and breakfast was good, though the coffee wasn’t. The standard cottages are very simple, more like a 3* place to me. We were disappointed because Booking listed it as 5*, and the price was at that level too. This isn’t a 5* hotel.

What stayed with us most was the Cambodian staff, always smiling, genuinely kind, and attentive. They treated us with so much warmth and care that we built a relationship based on trust and real affection. The Cambodian food was excellent too, especially the amok, red curry, and lok lak. If we return to Siem Reap, we’d choose this hotel again without hesitation. From the moment we arrived, Authentic Khmer Village Resort amazed us. The grounds are huge and carefully maintained, yet the jungle around them feels wonderfully wild, with lush plants and quiet ponds creating a peaceful atmosphere. Staying there felt like stepping into an ancient Khmer village, with lovely wooden huts on stilts under traditional straw roofs. The restaurant overlooking the large swimming pool felt magical.
