The beds were hard, but the staff brought me a topper and that helped. The pool sits on a busy, somewhat loud street, though it was still nice for cooling off. The internet and power went out a couple of times, but only briefly. The friendly, amazing staff more than made up for any shortcomings, and the location was great.

The staff were always there for you and went beyond expectations. The location is very good, right in the center of town, and we had a very pleasant stay. I repost my review because I originally gave 5 stars, but somehow it showed only 4. I don’t know what happened. This is a very good place to stay in Siem Reap, and we’ll stay at Baahu Villa again when we return.

Great value for money, and one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. The welcoming staff made us feel at home. Our 8 bed dorm was very clean, with an en suite bathroom that had 2 toilets and 2 showers. We could also use the amazing swimming pool, surrounded by plants, for free.

Even with Pub Street, Old Market, and the riverfront just a three-minute walk away, Baahu Villa sits on a quiet lane where you can escape the noise. It’s a little oasis in the middle of town, and the welcome felt as warm and lively as its name, “Baahu,” meaning “arm” in Sanskrit.

We slept well here, and could hear birds in the morning. The hotel is only a two-minute walk from the centre, but far enough from the activity to stay quiet. Rooms looked a little smaller than the photos, though the value was so good we couldn’t fault the place. Service was great, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful or caring.
