The room was spacious, but the basics were missing. The toothbrushes were soft, there were no proper glasses or cups in the room or restaurant, and the restaurant didn't bring me napkins. After cleaners took my used face towels, they weren't replaced; my bath towel was left on a chair, and the used bathrobe stayed on its hanger. They also don't offer laundry service. I chose the hotel because the app showed a huge discount, but even at 80% off I feel I overpaid. It's okay, but the advertised five stars feel wrong, and I'd rate it three at best. These are basic things I'd expect even from a three-star hotel.

We booked a two-room suite that worked really well for our family of four adults, with two bedrooms, a living hall, and two bathrooms. The rooms were very good, and the hotel is well located in a lovely colonial style building. Service was excellent, and the waiters were polite and helpful.

We were upgraded to the Colonial Honeymoon Suite, which was spacious, clean, and luxurious, with tasteful decor. Our hostess Nith left a beautifully arranged bowl of fresh local fruit and was very helpful throughout. We also got a complimentary massage from the resident masseuse. The restaurant food was delicious, and staff were welcoming and happy to help with anything. They arranged temple and town transport, bike hire, and bus stop pickup and dropoff. The hotel is on the main road to Angkor Wat, in a quiet part of town. We'd recommend staying here.

The view of the pool was lovely, and the hotel is close to Angkor Wat. My huge, comfortable room had two balconies, a bathtub, a big TV, and all kinds of thoughtful extras, even floor scales and afternoon tea. The main reason I chose it was the proper sauna, which got plenty hot. The welcoming staff were attentive too. I really enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to everyone. TOP ππ

The service was the standout. Yen helped with all my requests and made the stay memorable. This former Colonial Guest House has recently become a 5 star hotel, and it still has plenty of character. The rooms are spacious, there's a small gym and a nice pool, and breakfast and afternoon tea are included. It's a great place in Siem Reap, very close to Angkor Wat.
