BODEE Corner Hotel

I booked about a month ahead and expected a decent room on the first or second floor. When I arrived, they put me on the fourth floor. I asked about it, but the response was unprofessional. They didn’t listen to my explanation and just kept saying they didn’t know. Horrible experience here.

The street Bodee is on was a bit noisy, but the rooms were soundproofed well enough that I didn’t hear much. They were spacious and nicely decorated, and the staff were kind and helpful. The pool isn’t big, but it’s nice and gets a good amount of sunlight through the day. It’s not a big hotel, but the facilities were great and the rooms clean. There’s also a work room with good desks and office chairs where people can sit with a laptop and get work done. A very fair price for what you get.

We spent two weeks here and felt very comfortable. The rooms are modern and clean, with everything we needed and a few extras like a toothbrush and paste, comb, and quality shampoo. The internet was excellent, which mattered because I worked at the computer the whole time. Staff were very nice and always ready to help. Breakfast was good, fresh, and tasty. The hotel kitchen had only recently opened and was still improving its menu. Many nearby restaurants have good prices and delicious food. The hotel is seven minutes on foot from the main party street, with a shop directly across from it and the night market four minutes away. I didn’t find any real negatives. There was some street noise for a few days during the Water festival, but it was noisy everywhere then.

We stayed five nights. The things we liked were the spacious, quiet room, the very friendly staff, and being close to the night market. The AC stopped working after the first night, so they moved us to another room. That unit broke too, and they couldn’t fix it before we left. It was very hot on the top floor, though they kindly brought us a fan. The shower drain was a bit clogged as well.
