The rooms were spacious and cleaned every day, and breakfast was decent, continental style. For budget travelers, this place could work, but insist on staying at Ken's location and skip their tuk tuk tours. There are two separate places here: one run by Ken and the other, where we stayed, run by Paul. The tuk tuk pick-up is free, but you pay for the drop-off. We chose this guesthouse after reading reviews from people who loved Ken, but we never met her. Paul was often unavailable because of his manager job at a hotel. We left with a bad feeling after finding out that the bus tickets Paul arranged cost $4-5, though he charged us $8 per person. The restaurant choices were mostly noodles, and a 333ml can of 333 beer cost $1.50. If you object, they offer a 'better' price of $1, which didn't feel professional. There was no hot water in the bathroom. We paid $85 in total for four days of tuk tuk trips: $15 for a small temple tour on day one, $35 for the big tour on day two, $20 for the floating village on day three, and $15 on day four. Both of the last two tours ended around 13:00, so they were basically half-day trips. We had to suggest where to go because Paul hadn't passed our plan and tour details to the driver.
