The listing hasn't been updated to show the new name, Five Roses Hostel, and the photos don't match the place. There's no bar, restaurant or snooker table, and the pool pictures are inaccurate. Read the reviews and stay somewhere else.

It's a locally run family business, and the host is a great guy who chats with guests and is always smiling. If you need anything, he'll really go out of his way to help. For the price, it's hard to beat: clean rooms, a hot shower, working AC and a great pool to relax in after a long day at the temples.

The pool is a nice place to relax after a long day, and the man in charge is super friendly and always tries to chat, which makes you feel welcome. Rooms are clean, with both AC and a fan, and it's very good value. You can hire bicycles, and there's a cool mezzanine-floor restaurant and bar across the road. It is a bit far from the centre, though, and there aren't many other travellers around to socialise with.

⛔VERY OLD PICTURES⛔ This is the Five Rose HOSTEL, not the hotel in the listing. That named hotel doesn't exist. The photos haven't been updated. The places may have looked like that in 2014, before Covid, but then they built a full-on road through it. The pool was cut down to a ridiculously small paddling pool, with no filter, and there's no common area. There wasn't even a kettle or a pillow available on request. Nothing here but rats. Staff smile sweetly while lying to your face and serving up sh!t with sugar on top, or put on the dumb “I no speaky English” act. Terrible, I booked out after one night. Somebody was coughing, sneezing and spluttering like mad. My son and I both left with blocked sinuses, runny noses and sneezes.
