Golden Temple Hotel

Quiet but central, and a good place to unwind after visiting the Khmer temples. The hotel is very clean and feels thoughtfully run. Alice, who is responsible for its administration, was always available and put a lot of effort into providing good service. The restaurant serves tasty meals, and the terrace is worth a visit for the view. The hotel’s extra services were reasonably priced for a hotel. I’d definitely recommend it.

We’ve stayed in plenty of hotels, and this one ranks among the best. Alice, Roth, Harry, and the rest of the staff made it memorable and were always ready to help. They gave us special attention for our wedding anniversary, decorating our room like a honeymoon suite. The place is beautifully decorated with plants and artifacts throughout. Breakfast was generous, and we also loved the restaurant food. Don’t hesitate to book. It feels like a little piece of heaven.

Alice helped us arrange things over WhatsApp weeks before we arrived, and even booked a tour guide who was incredibly knowledgeable. We loved spending two days with him. For all three days, Jackie was our driver. He was outstanding and always offered water and cold towels. The Temple Hotel group's staff really went out of their way to make our stay feel special. Phanit and Roth were kind, smiling, and helpful throughout. The property is stunning, with little details that reminded us of the temples once we’d seen them. It was beautiful, and far beyond what I expected.

I’ve traveled to 27 countries, and this was the best service I’ve received outside Canada, where I’m from. The staff were remarkably kind, helpful, and genuine. They clearly care about how guests feel, and the resort was clean, quiet, and near amenities. It’s a lovely, safe country and location to visit. The lobby is gorgeous, and I left feeling inspired by its design. On arrival we were given a delicious iced tea, Cambodian seasoned roasted peanuts, and fresh banana chips. Calm Western pop hits mixed with spa music played softly in the background. The design and thoughtful service made the stay beautiful, and the treatment we received was a first for me. 100/10 service. I can’t believe how perfect it felt.
