The room was great and the staff were wonderful, but the laundry service needs work. I dropped clothes off at 2 pm and got them back at 7 pm the next day. My shirt came back a different color, my face towel had stains, and some socks were missing. I didn’t feel comfortable extending my stay and risking more clothes being ruined or lost.

The location was central but tucked away from the noise, with laundry service across the street and a 7Eleven about five minutes away. We stayed at Chheng Residence for six nights and found it amazing value for the quality. The staff were lovely and really helpful, arranging a scooter at a reasonable price and helping us print documents. Our room was huge and perfectly clean, with a beautiful bathroom. The pool was a nice bonus when it was 40 degrees outside.

I’m so glad we gave this place a chance, even though we usually stick to places rated 4.8 and up. The street is quiet but the location is very central, and they clean the rooms every day. The air con, shower and bath, staff, pool, and comfy bed were all amazing. The pool was clean too. I can’t believe it’s so cheap. Definitely stay here!

There’s a pool to cool off in during the hot hours, and the staff are friendly. The room was nice and clean, and it’s hard to find a better deal for the price. Highly recommend it.

Taphul Village was calm and quiet, yet Pub Street was only a ten-minute walk or a short tuk-tuk ride away. Chheng Residence in Siem Reap felt like a nicely balanced retreat, with boutique charm and a familiar, welcoming feel.
