Saveun and Sofia, along with their family, were some of the kindest people we've met on our travels. Their home was a highlight of our time in Southeast Asia, and the room was spacious, comfortable, and air-conditioned. Saveun and his wife are chefs, and the home-cooked Khmer meals were exceptional. For four days Saveun drove and guided us to the temples and his favourite places away from the tourist spots. His price was very, very fair, and he was accommodating throughout our stay. We're so grateful. If you're after an authentic, fun, peaceful experience in Cambodia, you MUST stay here. Thank you, Saveun and Sofia!

Saveun and his family made us feel at home, like part of the family. We stayed for three days, and the village walks and visits with neighbors gave us a lovely taste of traditional Khmer life. It was close enough to Angkor Wat, but far enough from the busy areas to enjoy the village. They picked us up at the airport for free, and Saveun drove us to sights, restaurants, and night markets. He also helped us find a guide when we needed one. Our room was clean and had its own bathroom. Breakfast was included, and we paid an affordable price to have lunch and dinner with the family. We were so glad we did, the food was really tasty and it made everything easier. We could relax in the evenings too. A great way to experience Cambodia while supporting local people.

We went home with lovely memories of our January 2025 stay. Saveun and his family took such good care of us, and he made sure we could see everything we hoped to see in Siem Reap, plus a bit more, while keeping us comfortable. My husband and I had an incredible time. Saveun cooks really well! There’s also a cute neighborhood coffee shop within walking distance where you can get delicious iced coffee. Thank you for a stay we’ll remember for the rest of our lives.

We spent several evenings eating at the house, and the food was better than anything we bought on pub street. They’re wonderful cooks, and Saveun and Sophia made the stay feel special. The house sits on a gorgeous property with hammocks out front. Our room was clean, cool and quiet, and the hot shower was nice. Saveun drove us around during our stay, with lots of patience and flexibility, and suggested some great places to see. We’ll definitely be back!
