The room was lovely, with access to the pool, a comfy bed, and a clean bathroom. It was serviced daily, and breakfast was okay. The one downside was the advertised parking: it was just the sidewalk on the street outside.

The staff were outstanding. The woman at reception made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and explained everything, which made us feel at ease. There are two lovely pools, plus a buffet breakfast that was decent. Happy hour runs from 6-8pm, with a free cocktail when you buy two. The hotel is an easy walk from central Siem Reap, but far enough out that nights were quiet. Staff also arranged our airport transfers and a driver to Phnom Penh. The rooms are a little dated, but service was so good that I'd highly recommend the place. Our ground-floor room looked out at a brick wall, and the beds were quite hard. We hardly spent any time in the room, though, so it wasn't a big deal.

We enjoyed our stay, even though I wouldn't call this a four-star hotel. The room was spacious, the bathroom was big, and there are two medium-sized pools. Breakfast was a simple buffet, and the staff were friendly and courteous. It's one of the quietest hotels we've stayed at in Siem Reap. Some features could use an update, though I actually like the older look. The Wi-Fi didn't work in our room, and there were lots of flies in the restaurant.

The place felt cosy, with a relaxed atmosphere and a lovely jungle garden. There are two pools, and the staff were very friendly and polite, doing their best to help. Special thanks to the reception team and to Trey, who was especially helpful and apologized for the trouble. The rooms are big and fairly clean, but some details need maintenance, like broken soap holders. It's on the ground floor plus two more floors. I'd avoid a ground-floor room because the only entrance is through window doors, which left me feeling exposed. The location is about 1 km from the city center. You can walk, but it's not a short walk and the roads are dusty, or take a tuk tuk for about $1. Things also felt disorganized. I ordered a lunchbox for an early Angkor trip and never got it, so I went without breakfast despite the staff's polite apology. Housekeeping hadn't come by 3pm, so I fell asleep and left the room uncleaned for the second day. The TV had no signal, the fridge wasn't working until I plugged its disconnected cable back in, and the air-con remote was dead, leaving the machine running day and night. It was freezing. Breakfast was a la carte rather than a buffet, and the portions were on the small side. Cosy, but average, and it didn't meet my expectations. Definitely not a four-star place.

Service was among the worst I've had at a hotel. I booked and prepaid in October 22, three months ahead, but when I arrived they said the hotel was full and I'd need to find somewhere else. They apologized, but I had a confirmed booking. The manager was supposedly too busy to see me. I refused to leave because I had nowhere else to go, and after an hour in reception they found me a room. Meanwhile, a group of walk-ins got two rooms. It seriously felt like discrimination. After a well below average breakfast the next morning, I put out the room-cleaning sign at 9.45am and went out. When I came back at 4.15pm, the room still hadn't been made up. Staff said housekeeping had been too busy and apologized again. I still never spoke with the manager, and the complimentary vouchers included with my booking never arrived. I'm not unreasonable, but after booking and paying in advance, I expected better. After a long day walking around Angkor Wat, I wanted to rest, but three people were buzzing around my room cleaning. I'd be cautious about booking through Agonda, since my booking number, ID, and prepayment seemed to count for nothing. You have been warned.
