We were glad to have a downstairs room, since there's no lift and luggage would need carrying up the steps to an upstairs one. I'm sure staff can help. I got to spend some time in the pool before the monsoon rains set in, and it was a pleasant, enlightening experience. The hotel has real charm and character, with a magical feel from the front entrance to the room, almost like being somewhere in the Mediterranean. The rooms are large, the amenities are amazing, and the shower cubicle felt like standing under a waterfall in nature. It's well thought out.

My daughter had so much fun here, and the room was kind of nice and okay. You need to ask them to clean and change the towels, though. They won't do it until you request it. Breakfast wasn't very Asian-friendly, with just some fried rice and noodles sometimes, and not much choice for an Asian like me. My husband did enjoy it.

The calm, relaxing energy here is exactly what I was after. The rooms are spacious and clean, with nice lighting and a bathtub. Breakfast is extravagant, and the staff are super kind. Highly recommend.

The large bedrooms had comfy pillows and a comfy chair for reading, and came with a TV and air-conditioning. There were hot water showers, and we enjoyed our stay. The setting is really peaceful, the staff friendly, and the pool lovely, though I'd have liked some handrails to hold getting in and out. They lit a lemon grass scented burner in the room daily. The kitchen wasn't always open for hot food. There was a courtesy ride into town, and a tuk tuk back cost only two dollars.
