Lub d Siem Reap

The $1.25 portions from 5-8pm were a huge help for me as a budget traveller, and I haven’t come across that deal elsewhere. I also joined a cocktail class and had fun. Lub D is very social, with daily activities that made it easy to meet people travelling solo. The dorms had roomy beds with curtains, plus full-length mirrors, and I slept comfortably. Staff were so accommodating. Special thanks to Alice, who was always there when I had a question. Definitely recommend!

The rooms were large and clean, and the food was very good. What I’ll remember most, though, is how kind and welcoming the managers were. I hit a somewhat difficult patch during my trip, and they supported me and helped with so many things. I’m really grateful for that. I had a wonderful stay and would happily come back. 💛

Daily events kept the hostel lively, with things like pub crawls, sunset tours, and karaoke. It was affordable too, including $3.30 cocktails and $1.25 meals between 5 and 8pm. Alice made the stay extra fun and special. I had a private room, which was spacious and comfortable, and it was cleaned every day. I can't recommend Lub D enough!

The room rate felt like really good value, and check-in was easy thanks to the staff’s support. Rooms were very tidy and clean, and the staff came across as professional. It seems especially suited to solo travellers and backpackers. The menu is good as it is, though the range of food and choices could be improved. I’d recommend giving it a try.
