The owner was kind and made sure I was comfortable and enjoying my stay. He also happily let me check out late. This is a great B&B in a colonial house tucked into the middle of Siem Reap, within walking distance of Pub Street, the night market and the Siem Reap River. Just make sure you close the doors properly, or the room can get lots of mosquitoes.

The room was much bigger and cleaner than I expected, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It feels like a great deal. My only awkward point was that the toilet area had no separate door 😂. I'd recommend staying here 👍

The location made it easy to walk to lots of bars and restaurants, and both the air conditioning and hot water worked well. The rest of our stay was a letdown. The place may once have been a lovely bed and breakfast, but it now feels worn and unpleasant. Bugs and several mosquitoes got into our first room even with the doors and windows shut. They moved us, but the toilet seat in the new room was detached. We asked for three days to have it fixed, then eventually got them to tape it down. The bed was much too hard, the curtains had holes, the floor and rugs were dirty, and breakfast wasn't great.

Joan greeted us so warmly when we arrived, and then surprised us with an upgrade and our own pool, even though we'd booked a standard room for two nights. The owners were wonderful, the rooms were lovely, and the location was great. We had an amazing stay.
