Malita Angkor Villa

The staff were kind and the rooms and surroundings were nice, but I wouldn't recommend staying here. Noise was the biggest problem: a nearby volleyball and football pitch could be heard from 8:00 to 21:00, the thin walls let in noise from neighbors in every direction, and a neighbor's six dogs barked every day from 4:00. Showers had no hot water, so an early morning wash was freezing. Wi-Fi was almost nonexistent, maybe enough for email but little else. Breakfast was decent, and guests could borrow bicycles for free to explore Siem Reap.

For $15 a night, I didn't expect free pickup, so that was a nice surprise. The staff were friendly and ready to help, and the location was quiet. Cheap, too. I'd recommend it to anyone on a budget.

Good value, friendly people, and a peaceful spot that's still not far from the center. I stayed here with my wife and we felt very welcome. If you're heading to Siam Reap, pick this place and enjoy it.

The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. It was a quiet place with welcoming service, though there were lots of mosquitoes outside the room, and a sewage canal runs in front of the hotel.
