Mane History Lovers

Celadon was a highlight for us: the breakfast and dinner were excellent, with plenty of Khmer and Western dishes to choose from, plus tasty cocktails. It’s set near the pool and felt romantic and relaxing. The hotel also has spa and massage services. Service throughout was professional, and we found the stay at Mane History Lovers to be excellent value for money. It really felt like a unique five-star hotel in SiemReap, and I’d gladly recommend it to other couples. We spent two nights, Nov 21-23, 2018, in a honeymoon room on the first floor. It was spacious, with a long sofa, two make-up cabinets, a wardrobe, a minibar, tea and coffee maker, a large indoor bathtub, and a nice glass bathroom. The king bed was decorated with our names, which surprised us and made us so happy. It was an amazing experience unlike other hotels we’ve stayed at. The property combines four traditional-style buildings with an open swimming pool behind them, all surrounded by green gardens. We were picked up free by the hotel shuttle at the airport exit. At check-in, the polite, professional staff welcomed us with their delicious “Mane Signature” drinks, which we hadn’t tasted anywhere else. The hotel is peaceful, but centrally located and easy to get around from. They offer free shuttle or Tuk Tuk rides with a good English-speaking driver for guests going to temples or other places they want to visit.

The breakfast was nice, though the restaurant staff could use more training. We booked the honeymoon package for couples, which includes a 60-minute body massage, but the massage was not good at all. Overall, it was fair.

The rooms are large and have everything you need, and the daily massage and tuktuk ride into the city are included in the price. For what you get, the price is great. The hotel is full of beautiful furniture and thoughtful details. Anita was great, and the helpful staff can arrange everything for you. It’s also just a short walk from my favorite restaurant, Cuisine Wat Damnak. I highly recommend the place and would definitely return.

Themed rooms based on historic years in Camdodian history, a pool, a massage spa, and a great restaurant. Evenings are quiet, and the staff can arrange pretty much anything. There’s a free Tuk Tuk into town, about 1km away, and the area feels safe. I loved this tranquil hotel, especially the staff. Really great staff.
