The staff were very welcoming, but the place looked nothing like the online photos, which was really sad. We paid for one night after speaking with the owner, then left straight away. Our downstairs bedroom smelled musty, the sink and bath/shower looked grubby, and the toilet seat was broken. In the dark we could barely make out the hotel name; the uneven path led to a dull, unwelcoming reception with a dirty floor, past a grubby-looking pool.

Even after checking out, we were allowed to shower after getting sweaty at the temples. They also offered us refreshments while we waited for our bus and picked up our bags. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, really can’t stress that enough. It’s a cozy place, well located, with a small pool.

The rooms are really nice, and the hotel food is good. For the best experience, I’d suggest getting a room with a bath and balcony. The location is about as good as it gets, and the staff are so friendly. Some areas could use a fresh coat of paint.

Moon Flower is in a great spot, just a few minutes from Pub Street. I enjoyed my stay, with a nice balcony room and staff who were always smiling. I recommend it.

The staff were so lovely and attentive, and the stay was good value. The pool is small, but it was fine for cooling off after a day of sightseeing.
