Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor

The hotel made a great base for seeing the temples. They arranged a taxi for one day and a tuk tuk for another, which made exploring easy. The staff were lovely and attentive throughout, and the food was fantastic. My wife can’t drink alcohol because of her medication, so the bar and food manager arranged for alcohol-free spirits to be delivered the next day. That kind of thoughtful service really made us feel valued. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

We spent a few hours each day unwinding by the warm, inviting pool after sightseeing. Our Landmark King Room looked out over the gardens, and we had a wonderful stay at Raffles Grand Hotel, Siem Reap. The staff were friendly and professional in every way. Dinner at the1932 restaurant is well worth making time for. We’d happily stay again.

The buffet breakfast was exquisite, and little touches like fruit baskets each day and bedtime stories left on the bed at turndown made the stay feel special. We loved the charming tennis courts and were even brought water and refreshing towels while playing. The setting feels timeless, the rooms were clean and cool, and the staff were thoughtful and attentive. At check-in, the first rooms offered at the very back were dark and had an odd smell. Once we mentioned it, we were moved to rooms that were truly spectacular. It’s a great spot for exploring Angkor and the surrounding area, with a reliable tuktuk service from the hotel too.

We came for our honeymoon and had an amazing evening at the lobby bar and 1932 restaurant. We weren’t staying at the hotel, but everyone was so kind and attentive, and the food was unbelievably good, beautifully prepared and plated. It felt like such a magical, special place. I wish ratings went up to 10 stars. Get the grand angkor sling, and save room for dessert. We tried the palm cake and mango sticky rice.
