Rambutan Hotel - Siem Reap

I stopped in for food and some time in the sun, though I wasn’t staying at the hotel. The service was amazing, and one staff member noticed I was reading about Cambodia and told me some of the country’s history, which made the visit feel extra special. Everyone was smiling, polite, friendly, and fun to talk to. It made for such a welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend stopping by even if you’re not a guest.

This place has become a bit of an obsession for me. It’s a beautiful, relaxing oasis in a place that can feel hectic, hot, and a little stressful. The staff are incredible, always friendly and accommodating. Rooms are big and comfortable, and I love the outdoor shower and tub. Breakfast is included, and it’s delicious and convenient. It isn’t specifically a “gay hotel,” but many of the guests are, as are the staff and owner. I felt safe, welcome, and accepted. 10/10, would recommend!

The room had a cozy balcony and two levels, so it felt more like a home away from home than a standard hotel room. Rambutan Resort in Siem Reap has a stylish, characterful feel, with lush greenery, thoughtful design and lighting, and a warm Cambodian atmosphere throughout. The team were flexible and helpful when we chose our room, so arriving and settling in was easy. The calm, well-designed pool area was perfect for cooling off after being out, and breakfast was excellent, fresh, and full of choice. We’d absolutely stay again in Siem Reap.

I’ve stayed twice already and will be back again soon. The resort is cozy and tasteful, with a wonderfully relaxing pool and mature greenery. The team are adorable, welcoming, kind, and fun, and resident cat Rambu is a cute touch. Thanks again, guys, for being so brilliant and cheeky!
