Summer Bliss Boutique Spa

The clean, spacious room looked just like the pictures, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Pub Street and plenty of restaurants are easy to reach from here. The staff were incredibly kind, and their adorable dogs and cats added to the place’s charm. I had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it.

Our four-night stay included one complimentary hour-long massage. There’s also a free airport transfer in a remorque, the trailer pulled by a bike, rather than a car. The staff tried hard to accommodate us, though there were occasional communication mix-ups. The stairs are steep and there’s no elevator. In the room, a few steps separate the bed from the bathroom, and there’s both a ceiling fan and air conditioning.

It’s well placed for nightlife and on a direct road to Apopo (Rat/landmine organisation) and Angkor Wat. My room was huge, with a big bathroom and effective air conditioning. There’s a strange rooftop area that might be useful for smokers or drying clothes. The hotel has two floors and no lift, but the staff were very helpful. Free water and coffee were replenished daily. Payment is cash only. I highly recommend staying here.

The room was good and the staff were friendly, though mine wasn’t ready when I arrived. It was short notice, so that was understandable. The dog in reception didn’t seem pleased to see me! I’d booked a room with a free massage, but the spa had closed six months earlier. It wasn’t a problem for me, though management should update the marketing to reflect that.
