The Orientation Lodge

It’s peaceful and really green, and the deep, clean pool was great. The room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. There are lots of shared facilities, including a large kitchen and a dining area that looks over the pool. It’s a 10-minute walk to the center, with eateries, pharmacies, and small convenience shops nearby. I really enjoyed my stay.

The property and grounds are beautiful, with an incredible pool, and we had a very comfortable, peaceful stay. It’s away from downtown Siem Reap’s craziness, but only a 15-minute walk away. The on-site restaurant is very nice, with great service and unique menu options, though there isn’t much variety for vegetarians or vegans. Phalla was such a warm, friendly, and helpful host. I highly recommend this gem.

There are nearby marts, massage places, and lots of inexpensive local restaurants. The lodge also has a restaurant serving delicious food, including an unbelievable $2 Eggs Benedict. Our whole family was so happy to find and stay at this gem. The rooms are extra spacious and clean, with a large couch, TV, and refrigerator. Mr. Phalla is a very kind soul, and the poolside is a lovely place to relax. Thanks again, Phalla. We really appreciate your kindness and beautiful lodge!

We arrived at 1AM, and hotel staff were waiting with the key. Our room was big, clean, and already cool, and there were bikes available to use for free. The swimming pool was great, especially after a long day at Angkor. The owner also booked a tuk-tuk for us at a reasonable price. It’s a little outside the city center, which is perfect if you like peace and quiet. We know where we’ll stay next time we visit Siem Reap.
