Uncle Sam Villa

I was happy with my 4 day stay. The people were friendly, the beds were big and comfortable, and the room was spacious, clean, and had Aircon. The bathroom was nice too, though a more thorough clean in the corners would make it perfect. I didn’t eat there or have breakfast. My room got sun on two walls all day, so it was hard to sit or sleep in it without running the Aircon for a while. I’d been told I would have a balcony, but it was actually a shared long balcony accessible from the corridor, and not somewhere I could sit. I’d been looking forward to that.

A quiet, newer hotel with clean rooms and nice washrooms, and very good value at $20 a night. There’s a discount for longer stays. It’s tucked down an alley, so it’s easy to drive past. There’s secure motorcycle parking, and the place has Ac and felt very safe.

The staff were especially helpful and friendly, from carrying our luggage to helping us with whatever we needed. They were flexible when we arrived late and when we had a late check-out, and even booked a tour for us successfully. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, and the location made things easy, with Pub Street and Night Market just a short walk away. We were impressed by the attentive service, and will definitely return and recommend the hotel to friends.

Good value, with a spacious room, a large firm bed, plenty of pillows, and good ac. It’s down an alley near the river and close to the pub street. They can also arrange tours or rent you a scooter.
