I booked two rooms on booking.com and had proper confirmations, but when we arrived, the property said it was fully booked and couldn’t take my family. They offered to put all four of us in a single room with one double bed. We declined and had to book another hotel. Staff gave me the owner’s contact on Telegram (pictured below). He picked up the call but took no responsibility for the mistakes. Staff said they were constantly dealing with disappointed customers over overbooking and had told the owner many times about availability, but he didn’t update the sites. That left the staff to face customers’ anger for his mistakes. The resort was also worn down and poorly maintained: musty smelling rooms, a dirty pool, overgrown grass, trash everywhere, and dirt dug up (??). Absolutely do not come. Do not book it on platforms.

The included breakfast was first class, and the hotel is only a five-minute walk from Otres beach. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom, and the pool area looks lovely. The tiles around it get dangerously slippery when wet, though. There were lots of mosquitoes while we were there, so the place needs fogging. Dinner was okay, but three courses took three hours; the very nice restaurant next door is a better option. We had a very good stay and would come back.

The pool is big and pleasant, and the hotel grounds are nice. Breakfast leans toward Asian food, though there are also toast, cereal, muesli and eggs. Our toilet wouldn't flush. We reported it in the morning, again during the day, and once more that evening. Each time they said they'd fix it, and after the third complaint they moved us to another room. Service could be better generally, as staff didn't always seem keen to help. At checkout, they simply said goodbye without asking if we needed a ride.

Otres beach is the one good thing about the location. The resort feels very old, and our room was dirty, with some lamps not working. The air conditioner barely cooled the room. What I booked and what I got were completely different, and I'm very dissatisfied with what I paid for.

Getting around from here is easy, and the bed is comfortable.
