Oasis in Otres

The owner was incredibly welcoming and made the place feel like home with thoughtful little touches. Breakfast was tasty and healthy, especially the delicious homemade bread they baked each morning. Our room was roomy, with new mattresses and furniture, plus a seating area outside each one. The pool was clean too. It’s a relaxed spot near the village center and beach, with the popular night market close by. Restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. I’d love to return.

I’ve never been this itchy. The room was infested with fleas and had bedbugs, and there were two little lizards on the bedroom wall. We stayed for two nights. The beds felt very comfortable when we first arrived, but that didn’t make up for how dirty the hotel was. There was no WiFi, and whenever we asked, they kept saying someone would come fix it, so we had to go to nearby bars to get online. It wasn’t worth the money. There are better hotels nearby, and I wouldn’t give this one even one star.

The owner was kind and had plenty of interesting stories. It’s a peaceful hotel with clean, modern rooms, and breakfast was great, including freshly baked homemade bread. I’d definitely recommend it in Sihanoukville.

A lovely family atmosphere comes through in the way the staff look after the place. The lakeside setting is great, and the infinity pool is a real plus. There are lots of room options at good prices, and the Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food is excellent, with nothing similar to be found elsewhere.
