The room was listed at $25, but the woman there charged $35, saying prices had gone up. I arrived late and had no other option, so I stayed. Later, with hotels outside full, I asked to extend for one more day two hours before checkout. She said I had to leave because she already had another booking, and that I should have told her the day before. I was left speechless. They seem to charge whatever price comes to mind.

It was wonderfully quiet day and night, with almost no noise from the street or other guests, and the neighborhood felt peaceful and residential. I also felt safe, thanks to secure locks and staff on site around the clock. Rooms and bathrooms were cleaned daily to a very high standard. A great choice if you want somewhere clean, calm, and safe.

The room was okay, though not the best, and the area itself is very quiet. It’s near the port, so staying here for a night before taking the island ferry is convenient. I messaged reception on Telegram in the morning to ask for the WiFi password, but she only sent it the next day, after I’d already checked out. That wasn’t helpful. It is a bit of a walk to get around.

The Khmer neighborhood is quiet, and the place sits nicely among the Chinese skyscrapers and casinos. Victory Beach is close, though far enough away that you don’t see too many Chinese and Russian tourists. The room was clean and big enough, and the bed, air-conditioning, and hot water were all good 👍
