Le Dhow 2

I’d happily stay at Le Dhow again. Itsandra Beach is about a 20-minute walk away, and VoloVolo market and the cafes are also close by. Breakfast at Cafe Dhow upstairs was very good, especially the excellent coffee. Lunch and dinner there were fresh and good too. Quentin, the owner, and his wife were welcoming and did a lot to make me comfortable. They both speak English. My room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, with an AC I didn’t use and a TV with lots of French programs plus an English news channel. There’s no shampoo in the bathroom and no mosquito net in the room, so bring your own. I stayed in April 2024, and couldn’t imagine a better place in Moroni.

The food was really good, and the staff were super helpful. We stayed for one night in September -24. It’s a quiet spot near the city center, and the room was cosy and nice for the price. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well, though there was no mosquito net. We had to leave early and asked them to call a taxi to Chindini. Instead, an employee drove us there for half what the taxi would have cost.

I arrived too early and didn’t know the cafe opened at noon. I messaged the owner on WhatsApp and got a quick reply, and a staff member came back soon. He made me an iced coffee, but the chef’s shift didn’t start until noon, so I couldn’t try the food. A nice cafe to spend time at in Moroni.
