Jijunghae pension

That awful smell from the bedding gave me a headache all night, which was the one bad part. Otherwise, the shower had strong pressure and clear hot and cold settings, so I felt refreshed afterward. The young owners were friendly, and the coast was about a 5-minute drive or 15 minutes on foot. The building exterior is pretty, and you can see the care put into its details. It's not especially cheap, but I was generally satisfied. The access road is a little chaotic, though the pension itself feels cozy and nice once you're inside.

The view was amazing, and the pool would be handy for families with kids. It was good for the price, though there wasn't a convenience store or cafe within walking distance. The ocean is visible, but quite far off, and it's also a bit of a walk to the road, so getting around without a car seems hard. At first the place looked older and less maintained than the photos suggested, but I felt the pension owner had done about the best they could.

We stayed in the VIP suite and liked both the room and the pool. The ocean isn't right outside, so it took a five-minute drive with the kids, but that was the only real downside. I was satisfied overall and have already recommended it to my younger siblings.

The blankets felt a little thin, but they provided disposable toothbrushes and soap. The facilities were clean, though a bit dated, and the location was handy for popular spots like Batgae Beach.
