I booked the Special Room for early July, and my Anmyeondo trip ended up being a real disappointment because of the accommodation. The website photos looked so beautiful, which made the gap harder to take. It was hot except for the early mornings and evenings, so we needed the air conditioner. As soon as I turned it on, there was an overwhelming disinfectant smell, and the unit looked old and dirty at a glance. I mentioned it later and was told they didn't know about it, but it seemed hard to believe they could have missed it. The issue wasn't obvious in the photos, but a wet tissue picked up the grime easily, whether it was mold or something else.
