The rate was good for what I got, though it’s worth checking booking sites since reserving directly isn’t always the cheapest. I enjoyed my stay overall. The room on the 20th floor was quiet and clean, with three layers of windows, a comfortable firm bed, and a good toilet, vanity, and shower. There was a clothing cabinet, extra hanging space, a luggage table, and a desk and tea table with two comfy chairs plus another chair. The room and reception each had separate WiFi access, but there was no international multi plug. This was a last-minute booking, and it worked out well. The hotel isn’t too far from ICN airport, and the taxi fare was under 100krw. Reception is open 24 hours. There’s breakfast, though I didn’t try it, and a gym I also didn’t use. A coffee shop is on the ground floor. Underground parking was rather dim, but guests can park free for two hours if they tell reception. There’s a train station, bus stop, banks, shopping centers, eateries, and a hospital a short distance away. I went out early one morning for a small pack of milk for tea, but the 24 convenience store was a bit far down an alley, which felt a little scary in an unfamiliar area. Friendly service and staff.

The breakfast buffet was just average, and its limited hours meant I only managed to eat there once in my two-week stay. The rooms themselves were nice, and the hotel was very good. I did miss having USB ports or universal power outlets.

My company had booked rooms for about 15 of us, and even though one was available when I arrived around noon, they wouldn’t let me check in. They told me to wait until 3pm, with no offer of an extra fee option. That was a really bad experience. I won’t be coming back.

The room facilities were good, but there wasn’t a room service menu, and room service wasn’t even working late at night. For a hotel I’d expect to be 3-4 stars, that leaves me able to give it only 2 stars. We had about 8 pieces of luggage, a stroller, and a sleeping baby, and were staying six days. The staff first said there was no one available to help with the bags. By the time I’d hauled everything into the lobby myself and was out of breath, struggling to breathe because of my asthma, the staff were having a briefing. Then a man at the counter said they’d just sent someone up to help. They shouldn’t have told us there was no one in the first place.
