Firenze Motel

We paid about 50,000 won per day for two rooms for our group of six. Having the rooms opposite each other at the top of the stairs was really convenient. The owner was very kind, and despite it being a motel, it felt comfortable. It’s close to the hot springs and seems popular with families. They even provided a spa and bath salts. Everything was just right.

The owner was very nice, and I appreciated the KF94 masks and Nike socks. The room felt a bit cold, though, and heating matters a lot in winter. Please address that.

I haven’t stayed here. When I called to ask, they quoted the rates listed on the booking site and said they were offering a discount. It’s in a motel district, so there are plenty of places at similar prices.

The room had a strong cigarette smell, and the bathroom felt a little cold, which is why I rated it low. The facilities are on the basic side, though I noticed what looked like partial remodeling underway. The parking lot is narrow and awkward, but parking on the street in front is fine. It’s listed as a self-check-in motel, yet the owner keeps an eye on things and comes out right away if you walk away, seemingly to check that there’s no problem. They’re friendly. There seem to be quite a few long- and medium-term guests, perhaps because of nearby construction or work.
