The owners were nice, and I liked the hotel and its pretty view. It's so close to the beach that you can rinse off sand and salt at either of the two outdoor shower heads. They also let me check in half an hour early, which was great.

The room was clean and nice, with a hot tub inside. From the window, the beach and ocean felt close up. During the mud festival, the owner charges inflated prices, though most other hotels do too.

The room's view and the location are amazing. The hotel is more like a motel, but that was easy to overlook because of those positives.

You can hear doors slamming in other rooms. Still, it's right on the beach with a beach view, and the price was decent. Aside from the noise, it was good.
